What to Expect With a New Bathroom Renovation in Peterborough

Stage 1: Initial Consultation and Home Visit
Pete will come to your home himself to measure the space properly, see how you currently use the room, and talk through what’s working and what isn’t. As a family-run business with 23 years in the trade, that personal visit is something Pete still does on every single job, not just the early ones. If you’ve already got ideas noted down, bring them up with us during the consultation.
Because Pete and the team design with installation in mind from day one, the practical stuff gets covered early (layout, plumbing and electrics). Things like whether moving a wall or repositioning a door would actually make the space work better for you. A lot of the best ideas in a renovation come from this conversation with you.
You’ll know exactly what to expect before the visit and on the day itself, including being able to track when Pete’s on his way. This first visit is free, with no obligation to go any further.

Stage 2: Design and Product Selection
Once Pete understands your space and what you want from it, the design takes shape. You’ll see your new bathroom mapped out properly, not just described to you. This is also when product selection happens.
You’ll choose your tiles, taps, lighting and storage. If you’d rather see and feel materials before deciding, our showroom in Yaxley is open for walk-ins too, with no appointment needed.
This stage moves at your pace. Some homeowners know precisely what they want and move through quickly, while others need a bit more time. Either way, you’re never left chasing for answers, because one team is handling the design from start to finish, not several different suppliers giving you conflicting advice.
