We had been living with a kitchen that wasn’t working for us for years and decided that it was time to take the plunge and change it. It was a daunting task - trying to decide what we needed. From the moment that Pete came round to have a look at the kitchen we felt assured that we would be able to get what we wanted. The team sorted everything for us from the lighting and plumbing to fitting a new radiator and knocking down a wall so that the kitchen was opened up. They were also able to fix some previous damage for us. The result was even better than we imagined. The team are extremely polite, professional and tidy and nothing was too much trouble! Thank you so much Pete, Ethan , Callum and Dan and the rest of the team! We absolutely love our new kitchen!

Pete Bird and his team have installed us a lovely new kitchen, including the removal of a wall between kitchen and dining room. Ethan and Dan completed most of the work and cannot fault their workmanship. They were also happy to answer any questions during the process and kept us informed each day what they would be doing. They cleaned before leaving each day and have transformed our space. Good quality materials used and Pete was always on hand to answer our questions and even came out on a Sunday when we had an issue in the house and fixed it. If you are thinking about having a new kitchen, I would recommend Pete Bird Kitchens & Bathrooms.

We had talked about a garage conversion for a while but wanted a reliable, recommended builder. Our friend used Pete Bird for her own garage/dining room conversion and was extremely pleased so we decided to go ahead. From day one our dedicated team, Ethan & Dan, arrived promptly and got straight to work. They supplied all materials - which were of the best quality - as well as organising the skip hire, Electrician and Plasterer, who I could also highly recommend. The boys returned today to do the snagging list ready for us to move to the next phase of our project. We are delighted with the results as we have gone from having a large area of wasted space to having two usable areas and a large mezzanine storage above. Not only has the work been completed to a high standard but the lads always cleared up after themselves before leaving for the day and and were very respectful and trustworthy to be left to get on with the job if we needed to go out. Garage conversations are just one of the many strings to their bow as they also install top quality kitchens and bathrooms with a new showroom to view and obtain the best advice so if you are thinking of undertaking home improvements I recommend you pay them a visit.

We met Pete last year to carry out some work for him as the new showroom was taking shape. Seeing how far it has come to the stunning finished article today, it is so impressive. High quality products on display throughout. Operated by an extremely helpful couple. Pete, his wife and the team, we have dealt with have always been more than happy to accommodate us. For future home improvements for our own home, I wouldn’t look anywhere else. Well done on the hard work and keen eye for detail in all areas of the showroom.

The team of Nathan and Dan did a fantastic job cladding and tiling our new outdoor space. Great attention to detail and the communication between both them and Pete (who called very regularly with updates and taking questions) was really good.

I can't recommend Pete and his team highly enough.
My elderly parent's house had a couple of issues requiring attention, in particular a badly installed shower that has given them endless problems. The work has been done quickly, looks great and for the first time we have confidence in the installation.
One thing of particular note is that communication at all stages has been superb. This is highly appreciated and not so common these days with many trades people (in my experience).
Definitely highly recommend, and will use again.

Pete and his team moved our front door from the side of the porch. They got the job done really quickly, to a great standard and were really polite and friendly. Pete and his team are very trustworthy.

We had Pete out to quote for some work and from the first meeting were very confident with how he listened and advised us. Pete is great at communicating and the work is very high quality.

We also had an extra wall put in and a new door fitted and many small things in between. Nothing is to much trouble for the team and they give you confidence all the way through.

What was really nice is how Pete listened to our ideas and gave suggestions that added so much value to the project his and the team’s expertise as a result meant we ended up with something better than was originally in our heads.

Very happy customers and we will be getting in touch when it’s time to redo the kitchen since they’ve also now started doing their own.
