After a botched installation by another company left us with a cracked shower tray, poor pipework, and numerous defects, Pete Bird Kitchens and Bathrooms completely transformed our 18 month old unusable bathroom into a dream bathroom.

They stripped everything back and started fresh. The difference in workmanship is stunning! The pipework is now installed with the correct gradients all below floor level, the shower tray is properly installed and secure (not just balanced on feet!) and properly waterproofed with taped corners. The toilet is fitted to the wall, and the wash basin is now secure.

Kevin delivered the first-class installation that we had expected previously. He is a credit to Pete Bird Kitchens and Bathrooms, professional, thorough and takes pride in getting things right including the final tweaks.

After seeing a garage conversion a few doors down, we decided after thinking about moving to have a quote from Pete for a similar project. Our house is perfect the only down side is the kitchen down stairs and the living room upstairs, with young kids this doesn’t really work. Pete came round and we told him exactly what we were looking for. He gave us a quote, explained what would happen and we decided to go ahead. The main thing we liked was Pete would arrange everything and we didn’t need to find lots of different people to do the job. He came recommend by a neighbour who had the conversion which was reassuring. Pete had a varied magazine with lots of different kitchen to choose from, he gave us ideas, helped us match things and in the end he created our perfect kitchen and snug. The guys Ethan, Callum and Lewis were professional, funny, courteous and respectful. They did a great job, they all put up with my nervousness and put me at ease especially as this was way out of my comfort zone. This transformation has changed our house completely and the vibe of our house. So thank you and I would absolutely recommend.

We are extremely happy with the job done on our bathroom. The entire space was completely stripped down and rebuilt from top to bottom, with everything newly installed. The attention to detail, and overall quality were excellent. The project was completed professionally, and the final result looks fantastic. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a full bathroom renovation.

We had been living with a kitchen that wasn’t working for us for years and decided that it was time to take the plunge and change it. It was a daunting task - trying to decide what we needed. From the moment that Pete came round to have a look at the kitchen we felt assured that we would be able to get what we wanted. The team sorted everything for us from the lighting and plumbing to fitting a new radiator and knocking down a wall so that the kitchen was opened up. They were also able to fix some previous damage for us. The result was even better than we imagined. The team are extremely polite, professional and tidy and nothing was too much trouble! Pete Bird and his team have installed us a lovely new kitchen, including the removal of a wall between kitchen and dining room. Ethan and Dan completed most of the work and cannot fault their workmanship. They were also happy to answer any questions during the process and kept us informed each day what they would be doing. They cleaned before leaving each day and have transformed our space. Good quality materials used and Pete was always on hand to answer our questions and even came out on a Sunday when we had an issue in the house and fixed it. If you are thinking about having a new kitchen, I would recommend Pete Bird Kitchens & Bathrooms.

We had talked about a garage conversion for a while but wanted a reliable, recommended builder. Our friend used Pete Bird for her own garage/dining room conversion and was extremely pleased so we decided to go ahead. From day one our dedicated team, Ethan & Dan, arrived promptly and got straight to work. They supplied all materials - which were of the best quality - as well as organising the skip hire, Electrician and Plasterer, who I could also highly recommend. The boys returned today to do the snagging list ready for us to move to the next phase of our project. We are delighted with the results as we have gone from having a large area of wasted space to having two usable areas and a large mezzanine storage above. Not only has the work been completed to a high standard but the lads always cleared up after themselves before leaving for the day and and were very respectful and trustworthy to be left to get on with the job if we needed to go out. Garage conversations are just one of the many strings to their bow as they also install top quality kitchens and bathrooms with a new showroom to view and obtain the best advice so if you are thinking of undertaking home improvements I recommend you pay them a visit.

We met Pete last year to carry out some work for him as the new showroom was taking shape. Seeing how far it has come to the stunning finished article today, it is so impressive. High quality products on display throughout. Operated by an extremely helpful couple. Pete, his wife and the team, we have dealt with have always been more than happy to accommodate us. For future home improvements for our own home, I wouldn’t look anywhere else. Well done on the hard work and keen eye for detail in all areas of the showroom.

The team of Nathan and Dan did a fantastic job cladding and tiling our new outdoor space. Great attention to detail and the communication between both them and Pete (who called very regularly with updates and taking questions) was really good.
