How We Work

One Team. From Concept to Completion.

Designing a new kitchen or bathroom should feel reassuring and well-organised, and above all enjoyable.

Our approach brings design, supply, installation, and project management together under one experienced and friendly team. Clear communication and careful coordination run throughout the entire process, so you always know what’s happening and what to expect next.

Here are the 4 simple steps of how we work with our customers.

The Steps...

Step 1

Home Visit, Ideas & Measured Design

A smiling older woman in a pink floral dress talks with a man in a dark shirt indoors. Another person is partially visible on the left side of the image.

Every project begins with a home visit. Pete will visit your home to take accurate measurements, understand your space and talk through how you want to use it. Whether you have a fully formed idea or just a starting point, he’ll help shape your plans into a considered design.

Because Pete designs with installation in mind, practical details are addressed from the outset. This includes layout flow, structural considerations, plumbing and electrics. This often leads to smarter solutions, such as rethinking how spaces are used, improving functionality or opening up rooms where appropriate.

Before the visit, and on the day itself, you’ll know exactly what to expect. You’ll be kept informed, and when Pete is on his way, you can track his arrival, offering both convenience and peace of mind.

Step 2

Design Development, Quotation & Ongoing Communication

Three women smiling and holding mugs while sitting at a white worktop. Two mugs have a festive design with a red bow and green leaves, and the centre mug has the logo DB PET KITCHEN.

Following the home visit, your design is carefully developed and presented with a clear, transparent quotation.

Even if installation dates aren’t confirmed immediately, communication continues. You’ll be kept up to date on progress, next steps and timings, so you’re never left wondering where things stand.

Because everything is managed by one team, questions are answered quickly and decisions are easier to make, without conflicting advice or crossed wires.

Step 3

Product Supply

Aerial view of a modern industrial building with multiple units, including Pete Bird Construction, wide entrances, a parking area with vehicles, and surrounding roads during daytime.

Once your design is approved, we supply premium European kitchens and bathrooms, with products chosen for their quality, durability, and longevity.

All ordering, scheduling and coordination is handled by us, ensuring products arrive at the right time and align seamlessly with the installation programme.

You don’t have to do anything else. We take care of everything.

Step 4

Installation & Project Management

Five men wearing black company shirts stand side by side, smiling, in front of a white van with business signage on a sunny day outside a modern industrial building.

We coordinate every trade involved, including installation, plumbing, electrics and any additional works, meaning you don’t have to manage multiple contractors or timelines.

With one point of contact throughout, communication remains clear, quality standards are upheld, and the original design intent is protected through to completion.

Step 4

"Pete and the team were extremely attentive from start to finish. Asking key questions at design stage that we hadn't even considered, which has given us a home that we absolutely love. Would highly reccomend!"
